A paranormal investigator claims he knows the true identity of a 'ghost' caught on camera in St James Cemetery.

Harry Tierney believes the mysterious figure, videoed gliding backwards and forwards in the cemetery grounds, is in fact a demon.

More than 50,000 bodies are buried on the historic site, located behind Liverpool Cathedral and Harry said he has seen a number of spirits.

However, he said behind every "good spirit" is a "bad spirit" or "negative energy", as he calls it, known to others as the devil, a demon or Satan.

And he said this "negative energy" could ruin the life of any person who comes in contact with it.

Harry, who has been a professional spiritualist medium for 12 years, said: "There are many spirits in St James and I have captured quite a few on camera.

"But when you get a spirit you get negative energy standing behind it and if it latches on to you, it can destroy your life.

"They are very dangerous - they bring you bad luck, can make your personal life disintegrate, you could lose your job your house and everything you hold dear."
