A spiritualist medium from Gloucestershire has claimed he has footage of a headless man captured at the New Inn on Northgate Street in Gloucester.

The video which was taken in 2015 from inside the pub and hotel shows a headless man moving past a window of the pub area.

The spiritualist claims that this footage is "the best yet" to have been recorded at the historical venue which was a resting place for pilgrims coming to Gloucester in the Middle Ages.

The now turned author has documented all of the paranormal experiences he has claimed to have had.

Jonny Angels said: "Where the ghost was caught on camera, they would have been walking through plant pots on a cobbled pathway at the time.

"It was suggested from an American medium that the spirit looks distinctively like an eighteenth century footman."

He has allowed Gloucestershire Live to use the footage after seeing our previous stories on ghostly goings on in the county.

It started when the interest was sparked about the paranormal and UFOs in his teenage years.

Mr Angels said: "I was reading The Unexplained magazines at the age of 12, and would often be at a local library looking for either UFO or ghost material.

"I initially began to have a fascination for UFO'S and alien life, and joined a group of like-minded individuals as a teenager.

"I then realised I was now inside a psychic circle where all the adults around me were practising elements of the paranormal and spiritual."

Then he developed his spiritual skills over the years.

He said: "It was as a teen that I became involved in anything from mind reading activities to telekinesis, also metal bending, psychometry and clairvoyance.

"Spiritualism was something which I gradually became a part of."

The spiritualist had been teaching overseas before the pandemic.

He said: "I got stuck in among the Covid crisis and have not been able to return to my teaching and travels overseas.

"I do a lot of readings in Asia although up to now have tended to keep a low profile.

"I had a premonition which gave me an ultimatums I chose to return before the Covid spread throughout the globe."
