A 'haunting' experience: Liverpool prepares to host third annual East Coast ParaCon

Lovers of the paranormal and those interested in learning more about unexplained phenomena,gathered in Liverpool from August 11 to 13 for the third annual East Coast ParaCon.

The event, co-hosted by the Queens County Museum and the Liverpool-based Crossed Over Paranormal Society, is designed to bring together people who are interested in learning more about the paranormal world.

During the three-day conference, guests and speakers from throughout North America shared their experiences in researching and documenting paranormal activity that included a variety of topics such as ghosts, UFOs, and legends such as the Oak Island mystery and the Bermuda Triangle.

This year's guests included Nova Scotia film producer and researcher Paul Kimball, who spoke about his upcoming television show, Haunted. Atlantic Canada's newest paranormal investigation show is expected to begin airing regionally in the coming months.

Other guests included Tim Loncarich who shared his secrets on remote viewing; Ryan Sprague who led a session on the Bermuda Triangle and other mysterious triangles around the world and Micah Hanks who did a presentation on magic, mysticism and the molecule.

Also on the schedule were sessions about the Roswell incident, which is marking its 70th anniversary this year, led by Greg Bishop and the 50th anniversary of the Shag Harbour incident, which was led by acclaimed writer and researcher Chris Styles.

ParaCon also presented a panel discussion to the highly popular television series, Curse of Oak Island with Doug Crowell, Kel Hancock, John Wonnacott and Alessandra Nadudvari. Their talk focused on Oak Island treasure theories.
