A man from Ware has seen what he believes to look like a ghostly face in the top window of an abandoned church in Thundridge.

The man, 24, who wished to remain anonymous, was walking through Cold Christmas Lane on Monday morning (August 14) with his fiancé, when the couple decided to take a few photos of the nearby Church of Thundridge.

He said: "We just went for a walk, just as we would any other day, and we had not been down that route before.
